#11 想唱就唱🎤
Hi everyone! Today I want to share my singing story with you and help you learn Chinese. Also, I plan to teach Chinese songs on my YouTube channel. Learning Chinese songs is a fun way to acquire Chinese. If you have any songs you like to learn, leave a comment or reply to this email.
小学时，我就喜欢唱歌。
有一次班级表演，我和一个女生在教室里合唱了一首歌。我已经记不得歌的名字了。可我很清楚的记得，我们当时站在黑板前面，面向着班里所有的同学。
那时候的我没想过别的同学是否喜欢我的歌声。我只是单纯的喜欢唱歌。
In elementary school, I loved singing.
When there was a class performance once, a girl and I sang a song together in the classroom. I can't remember the name of the song anymore. But I vividly remember that we stood in front of the blackboard, facing all the classmates in the class.
At that time, I didn't think about whether other classmates liked my singing. I just simply loved singing.
唱完歌之后，没想到有好几个同学排队要我签名。有一个男生甚至让我在他的T恤袖子上签名。于是我就在他的白色袖子上签上了我的名字。
哈哈，那时候我可开心了。我第一次感觉自己就像个明星。
那时候我只有9岁。
After singing, I didn't expect several classmates to line up for my autograph. One boy even asked me to sign on his T-shirt sleeve. So I signed my name on his white sleeve.
Haha, I was so happy at that time. It was the first time I felt like a star.
I was only 9 years old at that time.
后来我上了中学，我还是很喜欢唱歌。
可渐渐的，我开始变得在意别人的看法。可能是因为有些同学在背地里说我太爱出风头。我怕其他人不喜欢我太爱表现自己。我没有报名过任何唱歌表演。
但我会和我的好朋友们去唱卡拉ok。那时候我们一群人点很多歌。每一次去唱歌我总是很开心。
Later, I went to high school, and I still loved singing.
But gradually, I started to care about what others thought. Maybe because some classmates were talking behind my back, saying I loved to show off. I was afraid that others wouldn't like me if I expressed myself too much. I never signed up for any singing performances.
But I would go sing karaoke with my good friends. At that time, we would choose many songs together. Every time we went singing, I was always very happy.
再后来我上了大学，在我的家乡天津的一所大学。
那时候我们有一节计算机课是早上九点，经常有学生迟到。后来这门课的老师决定惩罚迟到的学生。她宣布谁迟到了就要在所有人面前唱歌。要知道，这门课上有100多个学生。
这样一来，大家都乖乖早起。没有人想在这么多人面前唱歌。
Later on, I went to college at a university in my hometown, Tianjin.
At that time, we had a computer class at 9 a.m., and students were often late. Later, the teacher of this class decided to punish late students. She announced that whoever was late would have to sing in front of everyone. You see, there were over 100 students in this class.
As a result, everyone started getting up early. Nobody wanted to sing in front of so many people.
可是有一次我居然起晚了，迟到了五分钟。
老师笑眯眯的让我站在讲台上唱歌。我没有办法，只好硬着头皮唱了一段。唱完之后我就很平静地回到了我的座位上。
就这样我被动的在大学里完成了一场表演。
But one time, I actually overslept and was five minutes late.
The teacher smilingly asked me to stand on the platform and sing. I had no choice but to muster up the courage and sing a bit. After singing, I calmly returned to my seat.
That's how I involuntarily performed in college.
后来我离开了天津，来到了加拿大生活。现在的我还是依旧喜欢唱歌。我还是梦想着有一个舞台，让我可以在上面唱歌。而我唯一的恐惧就是他人的嘲笑。但我决定不想那么多。
我想在我的频道里教中文歌，帮你们学习中文。
未来我想去open mic报名，在陌生人面前唱歌。
Later, I left Tianjin and came to live in Canada. Even now, I still love singing. I still dream of having a stage where I can sing. My only fear is others' mockery. But I've decided not to think too much about it.
I want to teach Chinese songs on my channel to help you learn Chinese.
In the future, I want to sign up for open mic and sing in front of strangers.
