2011年我从中国来到了多伦多留学。多伦多市中心的唐人街是我去的第一个唐人街。

In 2011, I came to Toronto from China to study. Toronto's Chinatown in the downtown area was the first Chinatown I visited.
It is located along Dundas Street and Spadina Avenue in downtown.
Here, there are various delicious restaurants and Chinese supermarkets.
When I miss Chinese food, I come to the Chinese restaurants here to eat dumplings and dim sum.

Look, at the entrance of Chinatown, there is a very beautiful mural.
On it, there is a traditional Peking Opera character, a female role holding a yellow lily.
This mural was created by Asian-Canadian artists Gene Pendon and Bryan Beyung in 2015.
The two Peking Opera masks in the background symbolize the two emotions of immigrants: hope for their new life in the new country and homesickness for their homeland.
Montreal is a bilingual city, including English and French.
When I was there, I ate buffet-style Chinese food, and the waiters at the restaurant spoke three languages, including Chinese, English, and French.

我很喜欢街上挂着大大小小的灯笼，让我想起了我的家乡天津的古文化街。
In 2018, my parents and I traveled to San Francisco and visited Chinatown there.
San Francisco Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in North America, established in the 1840s.
This is the Chinatown that I felt the most familiar with.
I really like the various lanterns hanging on the streets, which remind me of the ancient cultural streets in my hometown of Tianjin.
