Hello Spring, flowers are blooming!
Hi everyone! This week I want to share with you about flowers 花. My mom has sent me a lot of photos of her garden.

最近我妈给我发了很多照片.
dōu shì tā zài wǒjiā yuànzi lǐ yǎng de zhíwù
都是她在我家院子里养的植物。
zhège shì fěnsè de mǔdān huā, zhēn hǎokàn.
这个是粉色的牡丹花，真好看。Recently my mom sent me a lot of pictures.
They are all plants that she grows in my house yard (in China).
This is a pink peony flower, so pretty.wǒ mā shìgè kuángrè de zhònghuā àihào zhě
我妈是个狂热的种花爱好者。
xiànzài tā tuìxiūle
现在她退休了，
bù xūyào gōngzuò
不需要工作。
tā yǎngle chàbùduō 60 jǐ pén zhíwù
她养了差不多60几盆植物。My mom is an avid gardener.
Now she is retired,
and doesn't need to work.
She has raised about 60 pots of plants.měi yícì wǒ gěi tā dǎ diànhuà
每一次我给她打电话，
wèn tā zài jiālǐ gànshénme
问她在家里干什么.
tā zǒng shì shuō yào nòng huā
她总是说要弄花。Every time I call her,
Ask her what she's doing at home.
She always says she needs to take care of flowers.wǒ zǒng quàn tā jiālǐ huā tài duōle
我总劝她家里花太多了。
yǎng qǐlái tài lèi
养起来太累。
sòng yìxiē huā gěi biérén ba
送一些花给别人吧。
kě wǒ mā zǒng shì bù shěde
可我妈总是不舍得。
tā pà biérén bǎ huā yǎng sǐle
她怕别人把花养死了。I always tell her there're too many flowers at home.
It's too tiring to take care of them.
Give some flowers to others.
But my mom is always reluctant.
She is afraid that others would raise the flowers to death.shàng gè yuè wǒ huí zhōngguó kànwàng bà mā
上个月我回中国看望爸妈。
wǒmen qù huāshì zhuànle yì quān
我们去花市转了一圈。
mǎile yì pén zhíwù jiào sìjì guì
买了一盆植物叫四季桂。
zhèige zhíwù kěyǐ yì nián sìjì dōu kāihuā
这个植物可以一年四季都开花。
wǒ bǎ tā zhǒng zàile wǒjiā de yuànzi lǐ
我把它种在了我家的院子里。Last month I went back to China to visit my parents.
We walked around in the flower market.
I bought a potted plant called Sijigui.
This plant can bloom all year round.
I planted it in my house yard.wǒ zǒu le zhīhòu
我走了之后，
wǒ mā yízhí zài bāng wǒ zhàogù tā
我妈一直在帮我照顾它。
wǒ hěn xīwàng tā kěyǐ hǎohǎo zhǎng dà
我很希望它可以好好长大，
děng wǒ xià cì huíqù kěyǐ kàn dào tā kāihuā
等我下次回去可以看到它开花。After I left,
my mom has been helping me take care of it.
I really hope it can grow up well.
I can see it blooming next time I go back.
qián liǎng tiān wǒ mā hěn xīngfèn de gàosù wǒ tā fāyále
前两天我妈很兴奋的告诉我它发芽了。
nǐ kàn, yǒu hǎojǐ gè yá
你看，有好几个芽。
zhēn bàng, wǒ hěn qīdài tā kāihuā
真棒，我很期待它开花。
tā huì kāi chū báisè de huā
它会开出白色的花。A few days days ago, my mom was very excited telling me that it had sprouted.
You see, there are several buds.
Awesome, I'm looking forward to seeing it blooming.
