Taking care of yourself in winter
大家好,你们最近怎么样?我住在加拿大,这里非常冷,而且下了很多雪。
我有的时候觉得有点沮丧,有点不开心。
那在冬天 ,我们应该怎么照顾自己呢?照顾自己就是对自己好,让自己更健康、更开心。
Hi everyone! How are you? I live in Canada and it’s been freezing cold and snowing a lot.
I feel a bit down sometimes, a bit unhappy.
So how do we take care of ourselves in winter? Taking care of yourself means to treat yourself well, make yourself healthier and happier. I also made a video on this topic if you want to watch.
我想到了三个办法。
I came up with three ideas.
第一个办法是做一杯热茶。冬天的时候喝一杯热茶,会觉得温暖,不会觉得特别冷。
我喜欢喝茉莉花茶。茉莉花是一种花,它闻起来特别香。茉莉花茶也很香。
这是我新买的茉莉花茶。做热茶我要用茶壶。打开茶壶,茶壶里面有一个过滤器。
这个过滤器是用来泡茶的。茶叶放到里面,然后倒热水,把盖子盖上,然后等上五分钟。茶就泡好了,可以喝了。
你冬天的时候喜欢喝什么?你喜欢喝热茶吗?你喜欢喝咖啡吗?
The first idea is to make a cup of hot tea. In winter, drinking a cup of hot tea makes you feel warm and not so cold.
I like drinking jasmine tea. Jasmine is a kind of flower, and it smells very fragrant. Jasmine tea also smells very nice.
This is the jasmine tea I just bought. To make hot tea, I use a teapot. When you open the teapot, there is a filter inside.
This filter is used for brewing tea. Put the tea leaves inside, then pour in hot water, put the lid on, and wait for five minutes. The tea is ready and you can drink it.
What do you like to drink in winter? Do you like hot tea? Do you like coffee?
第二个办法是出去散步。
每天我都会等到有阳光的时候出去散步。冬天虽然很冷,但是出去散步会让我更有活力。
我家后面有一条小路。下雪之后,在这里走路要很小心。地上有很多雪,这里需要铲雪。
但是可以出来,到外面看看外面的景色,晒晒阳光,我觉得很开心。这是在冬天照顾自己的一个好方法。
The second idea is to go for a walk.
Every day, I wait until there is sunshine before going out for a walk. Although winter is very cold, going for a walk gives me more energy.
There is a small path behind my home. After it snows, you have to be very careful when walking here. There is a lot of snow on the ground, and it needs to be cleared.
But being able to go outside, look at the scenery, and soak up some sunlight makes me feel very happy. This is a great way to take care of yourself in winter.
第三个办法是写日记。
把脑子里的想法写下来。写日记是我养成的新的习惯,现在每天我都会写日记,把我的想法写下来。
我会想一想今天我的心情怎么样,我觉得开心、难过,还是焦虑等等,我会写下我的心情。
有的时候我会焦虑,比如说工作上有压力,我怕我工作做得不好,或者我觉得生活中有其他事情让我不开心。
把这些想法写下来,会让我觉得心情好一些。
The third idea is to write a journal.
Writing down the thoughts in my head. Keeping a journal is a new habit I’ve developed, and now I write in my journal every day and write down my thoughts.
I think about how I’m feeling today—whether I feel happy, sad, anxious, and so on—and I write down my mood.
Sometimes I feel anxious, for example because of pressure at work. I worry that I’m not doing my job well, or I feel that there are other things in life that make me unhappy.
Writing these thoughts down makes me feel a bit better.
有的时候我会想想今天有什么事情让我觉得开心,我也会把它写下来。
比如我去了一个新的咖啡馆,我喜欢那里的环境。或者我和朋友出去玩,我们一起去博物馆。我觉得很开心,我就把这些想法都写下来。
我现在写日记差不多写了一个月了。我觉得写日记帮了我很多,它帮我更好地去调节我的心情。
Sometimes I think about what happened today that made me feel happy, and I write that down too.
For example, I might have gone to a new cafe and liked the atmosphere there, or I might have gone out with friends and we visited a museum together. That makes me feel very happy, so I write those thoughts down.
I’ve been journaling for about a month now. I feel that writing a journal has helped me a lot—it helps me regulate my mood better.
所以冬天的时候,如果你觉得有时候心情不好,心情有点低落,你也可以试一试写日记,把你的想法都写下来。
